New Renewable Energy Warehouse features Stelrad radiators

The recent opening of Renewable Energy Warehouse (REW) in Kings Norton, Birmingham, brings a unique new renewables hub to the Midlands. The dedicated, state-of-the-art showroom offers a space to explore low-carbon renewable energy systems that are designed for both modern properties and renewable upgrades.

Key to REW is our largest display of radiators in the UK outside our Yorkshire factory. The centre showcases a curated selection of models from Stelrad and its sister brand Henrad—radiators that, when correctly sized, perform equally well with renewable systems and traditional gas or oil-fired systems. The display includes a wide variety of styles, sizes, and, most noticeably, colours, demonstrating the extensive choice available today. Visitors can explore the latest K3 and K4 designs, designer and high-output towel rails, and several of Stelrad’s newest electric radiators from its expanded electric range.

The radiator display was designed and selected by Stelrad’s Stuart Dixon, who has worked closely with the REW team and owner Spencer Bell, to curate a range of radiators and towel rails tailored to the high outputs often required for renewable, low-temperature heating systems. The display features Stelrad’s new Low Embodied Carbon Green Compact radiator, manufactured using ArcelorMittal’s XCarb® recycled and renewably produced steel, which delivers a 66% reduction in embodied carbon compared to radiators made from traditionally produced steel.

“This is an excellent new venue and facility for us to showcase a wide range of our exciting radiator products and to do so in an environment that is all about introducing the latest solutions and options to heating engineers, specifiers and consumers face to face” says Stelrad’s Stuart Dixon. “The warehouse gives visitors the chance to see a comprehensive range of options under one roof across 3 floors in a converted theatre building that has been brought back to life by the vision of the owners. It’s about future-proofing the heating industry and exhibiting a range of technologies that can work together – in a fully working environment, with resident experts on hand to discuss the options and to explore the way forward in heating and plumbing, in kitchens and bathrooms utilising exciting new products and ideas.”

The Renewable Energy Warehouse can be found on Pershore Road in Kings Norton – the postcode is B30 3DR. For further information and directions please visit: www.rewltd.co.uk
