Competition winner Joe gets electric radiator

Malvern-based installer Joe King was delighted to hear that he’d won a prize in the PHPI magazine Christmas Giveaway Prize Draw! He was one of hundreds of installers up and down the country to enter the competition in leading trade magazine Professional Heating and Plumbing Installer and he was the lucky winner of a Stelrad Alu Simple Fluid Electric Radiator from the new Stelrad Electric Series. Joe chose a 580mm x 1000mm version in Anthracite grey which was delivered to his home recently.

“I’m delighted to win this prize,” he said. ”I’ve won a couple of prizes in these competitions before but nothing of this value, so really pleased with it. I’m in the process of renovating my home so this will be a useful addition!”

The Stelrad Electric Series is currently made up of 13 expertly selected steel and aluminium radiators and towel radiators, which provide unbeatable quality and design to suit any room or décor.

“We’ve been delighted with the levels of interest the new range has sparked in the UK and Ireland,” says Marketing Director Chris Harvey. “There is clearly a significant marketplace for ‘all electric’ heating in homes, despite the domination of gas boiler fired heating systems, and we’ve seen major interest from people adding extensions or conservatories to their homes, where they see the advantages of an electric radiator, rather than extending their existing heating system which comes with the possibility of having to replace their boiler to cope with the additional heating requirements. Our pre-launch research suggested there was a market out there, but we’ve been surprised at how extensive the demand has been.”

As well as offering effective and functional heating in the home, as you would expect from Stelrad, the radiators in the Electric Series are aesthetically appealing and provide attractive options for the décor in the home and come with a five-year warranty on the heating parts and a two-year warranty on the electric components.
